Real old stuff...

At the VT wonen & designbeurs there was also a stand with real 

old stuff called Burbri antiques. They sell a lot of industrial lamps and other 

furniture from the past. 

Grizzled greens...

This week it is time for the VT wonen & design beurs in Amsterdam.

A great place to get some inspiration and for me to do some work, cause there is

an interiorstylists adviseplace. Lots of grizzled greens to see at the VT wonenhome and also green it is in beautiful plants and flowers handing and standing!

 The atmosphere is romantic, but with an industrial touch.

I think this will make me grab some paint to start painting my walls...

Merci at Paris...

 

 

 

Last month we went to Paris and especially the district Le Marais was pretty amazing.

I wanted to go there for the Merci store and spend a lot of time cause i wanted to 

see everything. Le Marais has more than only the Merci store, lots of beautiful shops

and cafes. Paris is always a good idea and certainly this neigbourhood! 

Beachhouse...

 

 

How i wish to be here Rugen beachhouse in Germany.

This scandinavian style just around the corner.

Wood and stunning nature nothing else.

If i close my eyes i can see the beach and already smell it...

Eastereggs...

 

 

Since the light was pretty amazing this morging. I decided to take some

 photo's to make the Easterfeeling complete...

New workplace...

 

 

 

 

All our house needed was a workingplace, but without a computer.

 Just to write some notes. For the children to do some homework, without distraction.

Today was a good day for it and so our workingplace is here, so let's get some work done...

 

Time to move...

 

 Now that it is springtime it's time for some action. So i have started to make

 my extra room ready to exercise. To train in style i found a black kettlebell

and some more heavy weights. Have to visiualize sun and beach and

 a summerdress ' I say 'Just do it!

Cow skull mantelpiece...

Spring is the time to spice up the place here. This time it's the mantelpiece in the livingroom.

I found this big fellow and hang him above our mantelpiece. 

The cow skull is in good contrast to the black wall behind it. 

And some cactus plants to give it some more robust look.

Especially the flower cactus has my attention...

Finally toxic free...

What a great idea. Something what seems to be so chemical and plastic as a nailsalon,

 but then better as in toxic free. Then your interior has to be also very natural.

They did a great job in Melbourne at Missy Lui. Cozy armchairs and 

natural tones for real relaxation. Designed by Sasufi.

Watch out for the Rhino...

  

Ever since i went to Sout Africa and spend my days looking everywhere

to spot them i have kind of a crush on the rhino.

Once i saw a very expensive one from ceramic, but never bought it.

I regret untill now. I bought a plastic one and painted it with waterbased paint.

It looks like it was made from clay now.

Here is my view now with a rhino...

This natural rugsack would look very nice on an early springday...

Bedroom with simple mantelpiece...

With this mantelpiece in our bedroom i tried to make the room more intimate

and it is also a great place to store some of my stuff like perfume.

was build in only one hour, only straight lines. And with this centerpiece

 i can easily give the room another look...

No. 57 Boutique Cafe...

 Absolutely stunning this place! If i ever fly to Abu Dabi i know where 

to go for a nice dinner. It is really a mix of industrial, wood, concrete
